Carlin Park is a good default choice for a first beach visit in Jupiter. It spans both sides of A1A and includes a large beachfront lawn, picnic pavilions, an amphitheater used for outdoor concerts, and a skate park across the street.
Parking is plentiful compared to some of Jupiter's smaller beach parks, and the park has restrooms and shaded areas on both the beach and lawn sides, which makes it easy to spend a full day here rather than just a quick swim.
Practical notes
- Parking can fill up by mid-morning on weekends and holidays, especially in season (roughly November through April).
- Rip currents can be strong near the inlet further north; check flag warnings and swim near a lifeguard stand when one is present.
- Leashed dogs are generally allowed on the sand outside of peak swimming hours. Check posted signage, since rules vary by season.
