Coral Cove Park is a smaller beach park on Jupiter Island in Tequesta, just north of the Jupiter Inlet, popular for snorkeling around the nearshore rock ledges when conditions are calm. It has about 600 feet of lifeguarded ocean beach plus frontage on the Intracoastal, with picnic areas and grills, a playground, restrooms, and outdoor showers.
The rock ledges just offshore hold fish and other marine life close enough to see without a boat, which makes this one of the easier snorkel spots in the area for beginners, weather permitting.
Practical notes
- Snorkeling conditions depend heavily on the day's water clarity and wave action. Check a local surf or dive report before heading out, since visibility can change quickly.
- Parking is free but limited compared to Carlin Park; arrive earlier on weekends.
- Pairs well with a stop at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse, a short drive away.
